MUM 2 BE — Pregnancy Companion App

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MUM 2 BE mobile application ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Not Medical Advice

MUM 2 BE is an informational and tracking tool only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The guidance, week-by-week content and reminders in the app are general in nature. Always consult your doctor, midwife or other qualified healthcare provider about your pregnancy and health, and never delay seeking medical care because of something you read in the app. If you believe you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.
You sign in with your mobile number, verified by a one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number secure.
You agree to provide accurate profile information; the app's calculations (pregnancy week, due date) depend on the dates you enter.

3. Subscriptions ("Mum2Be Pro")

Access to the app's features requires an auto-renewing subscription, offered as a monthly or yearly plan. The price is shown in the app and in the store's purchase sheet before you pay.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancel anytime in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Payments and refunds are processed and governed by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we never receive your payment details, and refund requests are handled by the store under its policies.
Plan changes. When you switch between monthly and yearly plans, the store applies the charge and timing rules shown to you at the moment of the change (for example, upgrading starts a new yearly period immediately and credits your unused time, while downgrading takes billing effect from your next billing date).
Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data, reverse-engineering the app except where the law permits it, or using the app for any unlawful purpose.

5. Your Content

The health information you log belongs to you. We process it only to provide the app's features, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, content and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices; they do not transfer any ownership to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
